Mono.Cecil 0.1 released 11
Mono.Cecil 0.1 “Trick or Treat”
I’m very proud to announce the very first public release of the library Mono.Cecil.
Cecil is my first Open Source project of this size. It suffers from a few defaults, I learned a lot while working on it, but it’s quite usable, and people seem happy to work with it.
Also, I would like to thank everyone that contributed to it, directly or indirectly:
- Sébastien Pouliot
- tberman/diary/”>Todd Berman
- Sébastien Ros
- Thomas Gil
- Sorry for those I forgot…
Wow, done.

yes but what is Cecil? I’ve looked at your front page and I can’t find any description of what it actually IS.
Can you add that to your release post? "Cecil is …".
Thanks.
No, if only I could find the samples/ directory ;-)
For any details about Cecil, please refer to:

Also, I’m writing a programmer FAQ, containing samples, so that people can quickly see how to use Cecil without having to read the source.
Interesting Finds

Sacrée Cecil elle me fait bien marrer ;)
Good to hear that you’re writing the programmer FAQ JB! :)
Good job. Congratulations!
Congratulations, man! Good job!
I just tried Cecil and love it. I was hacking FxCop in order to get the same information that Cecil provides. Cecil is much faster than FxCop.
I have a couple questions about Cecil and why it behaves the way it does in certian situations. Is there a wiki or forum i should post to? or just here in your blog comments
Feel free to drop me a mail if you have any question !
hmmm…Looked around and cant find your email address. can you email me at john @ nwmountainplay . com? (take out the spaces)
